Aron Brown - Agent
Education and hard work has always been a key to my success. I grew up in Richmond, Virginia where my mother was a public school teacher. I remember her saying “Aron, higher education is very important and each generation should strive to be better than the previous. She earned her master’s degree (MBA) from VCU in childhood education before being diagnosed with M.S.. My mom’s disability inspired me not to procrastinate on the important things in life and live my life in a way that helps me to give back.
My dad on the other hand joined the U.S. army after he finished high school. Then he came home and worked for DuPont, as a machine operator. He knew everything about repairing cars from being in the army and he became the neighborhood handyman and father figure to the kids. He was a tough disciplinarian. He was often referred to as Joe Jackson who is the father of the greatest musician to ever live (to me), Michael Jackson. I can hear him now coming home from work upset because I had just gotten in trouble at school….”Urn! DROP THOSE DRAWS, NOW!” But, he taught me some good lessons too along the way. One key thing he told me growing up is “Urn! Always value your family, your integrity, and your faith.”
My dad also owned a few investment properties in the area too but he wasn’t a good businessman because he had no vision. To improve upon his legacy I decided to get an MBA and become a real estate investor. I purchased my first home in 2009 became a landlord. I was content! But in 2015 my house was robbed. I then decided to call it quits being an investor. And I eventually, quit!
But I always had a passion in real estate so I couldn’t stay away. Since my mom had obtained her realtors license but never decided to put it to use, I chose to get my realtors license to improve upon her legacy and use it, immediately! My first job was to sell my house myself. I sold my own home and got married all in the same year!
Today, I’m YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD REALTOR helping First Time Home Buyers realize their dream of home-ownership, as it was once a dream of mine.
