The 20th Annual Project Discovery Alexandria Walkathon Is Coming April 23 2016

Project Discovery-Alexandria, is a college access program that helps low income and students who would become the first members of their families to attend college.   The program offers Alexandria teens college workshops, college tours, and special events pertaining to higher education.  Please come out and support this worthy cause on Saturday, April 23, 2016, starting at 8 AM.  The location is Ft. Ward Park, 4301 W. Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA.  Guest speakers include Rev./ Dr Johns Howard-John Wesley (Alfred Street Baptist Church), Chris Lawrence (News4 Anchor), and Kristin Wright (News4 Reporter).   Your leashed dogs are also welcomed to walk at the park!   Please feel free to contact us for additional information pertaining to the event, 571-242-6669!
